Calvis Hammond, a fast-rising contemporary Gospel Artiste has released the video to one of his well listened to singles “God is Able”. The song which featured Luigi Maclean and Curtis Quarcoo was premiered to a cross-section of music lovers in East Legon.

The premiere of the video was interspersed with solos from some gospel artistes like Minister Kobby, Minister David and Rev. Elliot Lamptey. In addition to the above, the video premiere also gave patrons the opportunity to listen and watch some past works of Calvis Hammond. The highlight of the event was an interactive live acoustic performance of “God is Able” by Calvis Hammond, Luigi Maclean and Jane Yawson and this was climaxed with the viewing of the music video for “God Is Able”, which was dedicated by Rev. Mouha Amoako of Alive Chapel.

In an interview with Calvis Hammond on why he and his team decided to delay the release of the video of “God is Able”, after the release of the audio version in November last year, he noted that his team was waiting for the right moment to release the video for the song, and they believe this is the right moment.

On what he expects the song to achieve to the many who listen, Calvis noted that “I expect the video to reach and bless people all over the world and to also remind them of God’s ability to do the impossible. The many who listen should be reminded that God is not only able to do wild miracles but also able to liberate us from sin and all addictions and bring us out of darkness into His marvellous light”.

The “God is Able” video which was shot in January and February this year was directed by the award-winning director Nana Kofi Asihene, who has a number of award-winning videos to his credit. The song was written and composed by Kofi Dua Anto (KODA) and Calvis Hammond and features Luigi Maclean of Love Gift, from the camp of Joe Mettle and Curtis Quarcoo of Flo’Riva from the camp of Cwesi Oteng on lead vocals.

Among the prominent people who were present at the premiere were Daniel Dadzie, the host of Joy FM's Super Morning Show; Opoku Sanaa, Yamaha’s Sales & Marketing Coordinator-Sub Saharan Africa, and Kwesi Koomson, manager of leading Gospel Artiste, Joe Mettle.

The premiere was also streamed Live on Facebook and YouTube by Studio HD and was hosted by JamRock restaurant. The “God is Able” Music Video is now available on YouTube.
