26.04.2018 LISTEN

Ghanaian songstress, Francesca Duncan Williams known in showbiz as Sista Afia says she is afraid to approach Sarkodie for a feature.

With a number of hit tracks to her credit in her young music life and having worked with top producers and musicians alike, it is unknown why the musician will feel that way.

Reacting to a question posed by a fan who wished to know when she would record a song with Sarkodie, Sista Afia said she was scared of the rapper hence her inability to approach him.

Sista Afia had an exclusive interview with NY DJ on RYSENSHYNE in Kumasi.

Sista Afia said “Sarkodie has been in this industry for so long time and have built a very respectable and solid brand that makes it hard to touch him.

Although I know he has been very receptive to a number of young talents and has a very good heart, especially for the female musicians, my fear is whether he would want to associate with the young brand I’ve built or accept a feature from me”.

Sista Afia is however expecting her best to overcome her fears soon and make that move with Sarkodie.

Breaking into the music industry with Kro Kro No in 2015, Sista Afia has since released a couple of hit songs including “Jeje” which featured Shatta Wale, “Yi W’ani”, “Are You Ready?”, Kofi, “Pass U” featuring Medikal and a recent new single “Slay Queen” which is enjoying airplay on various platforms across the country.
