Blakk Kobby, a 3FM's presenter, has been nominated in the reggae/dancehall DJ of the year category of this year's Ghana DJ Awards.
Blakk Kobby, who is the host of Reggae Vibes on 3FM, could not contain his excitement, as this is his first time of being nominated.
According to him, the nomination is a real testament of his hard work and dedication.
“I was surprised but I know it's a blessing from the most high to reach this far with reggae music. It's a great recognition I never thought will ever come my way. To Jah be the glory,” he stated.
On how he felt about the other nominees in the same category, he said they all deserve to be recognised as well.
“Well, it's a blessing to be in this category with hard working DJs. I feel we've all done our best to push reggae music beyond expectation.”
Reggae Vibes is an educative show that seeks to teach the youth about their roots and culture, history, music among others.
It is airborne every Friday from 10:00pm to 12:00am and Saturdays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
