Fredrick Konadu Adarkwa a hiplife artiste who is known in the showbiz as Posy and is one of the fastest rising musicians in Ghana. Through consistency, ceaseless output of authentic heavy rap lines and exclusive vocal delivery characterized by his energetic unique touch of stagecraft, has distinguished himself as an abled brand in the noble art of rap and hiplife music.
Posy who is not gleeful about the frame of mind of some of the industry players, claims that, backbiting, enviousness and other forms of unacceptable attitudes are the tools that are blowing the industry into pieces and thus thwarting the progress of some of the upcoming artistes.
According to him, the very people he shares his secrets with, seek advice and help are the very people who abstractly tear him down, therefore, preventing him not to ascend to the top.
“Some of my friends in the industry who claim to be helping me are the same very people who destroy my career in the darkness. Sometimes they act as if they love you but in their heart, they want to eliminate you. Backbiting, enviousness, blackmailing and hatred criticism is what they know.” He stressed.
Posy who is not also happy about some of the media and the DJs also continued to argue that, most of the media and the industry players fail to help the upcoming artistes with the fear that these young artistes will overrun them to stardom.
“Sometimes out of hatred these big men in the industry fail to help us, especially the stars who are making it big in the industry. They are afraid that we will overtake them.” He added.
Posy who want to create peace in the industry urges all the industry players to change their attitude and help the upcoming artistes because they also have the talent that can push them to the global frontline in the music industry.
Posy is currently promoting one of his hit tunes Pus3333 which is currently enjoying some airplay in Ghana and beyond.
