Gospel artiste Andy Afranie is keen on making an impact in the creative arts space with his new album titled 'Strokes Of A Worshipper'.

A professional graphic designer, web developer, video editor and a portrait painter, Andy who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Diploma in Graphic Design and Website Development from IPMC has vowed to use his God-given talents to work for the betterment of mankind.

The maiden album features amazing tracks like 'Welcome', 'Left-Right', 'Yes We Can', 'Praise Medley', 'Worship Medley', 'Hosanna', 'Happy Birthday' and 'Oguamma'.

The album is marked by catchy Afro-fusion with contemporary grooves which have both a soothing and uplifting effect on the listener.

Following on the success of the album, Andy has also released a music video titled 'Welcome'.

The colourful video portrays Andy Afranie as a pastor who resorts to charms to mislead unsuspecting Christians until the Holy Spirit invades his life and forces him to repent.

Upon changing his character, he blesses the Holy Spirit with a lovely portrait painting. The song exhorts Christians to forsake the ways of the world and depend solely on God for their sustenance.

'Welcome' was produced by Mr Kwakye and Owuraku for Rhythms Africa Studio, and the video was directed by P-Stills.

Andy Afranie, who is currently under the management of AAM Records, is best known for his African and contemporary soothing rhythm and impressive songwriting style.

He has developed a unique style, blending the art of music with painting on and off stage and this makes his performances a sight to behold.

As a way of fusing his music with his art, his ministrations are often accompanied by sessions where he unveils stunning portrait paintings of his invitees.

Andy Afranie is set to release a live DVD concert recording dubbed 'Sow Concert' (Strokes of A Worshipper Concert) later this year. A family man, he is happily married to Mrs Irene Boakye and they are blessed with a lovely son, Jerome.
