A member of the defunct Praye group, Eugene Baah, otherwise known as Choirmaster has said he will do anything possible to unite the group.

Speaking in an interview with Melvina Frimpong Manson on Suncity 97.1 FM’s Showbiz 971 in Sunyani, Choirmaster stated that uniting the group is his heart desire.

“I have dropped a song to explain my statement to the fans because all efforts to solve the case privately did not yield any positive result. So the fans should judge.”

“But uniting the group is still my heart desire though my solo career is booming. The unity of the group is still on my mind,” Choirmaster revealed.

He also took to Facebook to announce his wish to have his ‘brothers’ back to work together as Praye again.

But Choirmaster has said that the response he got from Praye TinTin and Prayer Tietia broke his heart.

“For a very long time, people are blaming me that I do not want to join the group. I explained about my solo career project and still people did not understand me…and put pressure on me to join the group.”

“So I thought it wise to declare my intention and readiness to work with them. My first post was all about peace, it was all about let us forget what happened before and let’s move forward.”

“I used the picture of Praye in the post. People think we are fighting. At least for me, I am building that road to unity. What I expected them to do was to post something which is welcoming and that will make the fans feel okay,” he disclosed.

“For me I think they did not do well. Now that I have released my statement through a song, I wish that they will reply so that we will take it from there,” he added.

Choirmaster refuted claims that ‘Donkey’ is a diss track to his colleagues.

He stated that ‘Donkey’ is all about how he feels in real life.

Eugene who claims in the song that he did all the hard work when they were together, challenged his colleagues to reply if they think otherwise.

He believes a mediator can help them to resolve their differences. “Stakeholders and other important personalities should help us to resolve this issue Praye’s contribution in the Ghanaian industry was great so people should not sit unconcerned.”

“Somebody like Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, Chairman Kwame Sefa Kaye and all the big names in the industry should come to our aid because I cannot do it alone,” Choirmaster appealed.

He called on their fans to forgive them because actions leading to their breakup are deeply regretted.

The Praye group was made up of Eugene Baah (Praye Ho Ne Ho) Steven Fiawoo (Praye Tiatia) and Nana Kwame (Praye Tenten).
