The Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Friday night was full to capacity for the 2017 edition of MTN Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.

The annual event started at exactly 6:30pm with a wonderful display by the Accra Symphony Orchestra singing various praise and worships to get everything underway.

As the season of giving, MTN Ghana gave out smashing gifts to usher audience into Christmas mood and special presents for birthday celebrants on the night.

A host of popular Ghanaian musicians including Joe Mettle, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Kidi, Kuame Eugine, Freda Rhymz, Kurl Songz of MTN hit maker fame wowed the audience with sparkling performances of their own rendition of Christmas carols that got them on up on their feet, singing and dancing in a joyous mood.

Renowned highlife crooner, Kaakyere Kwame Appiah staged an ecstatic performance of his popular Christmas songs such as 24th, Di Bronya and yekodi.

The Soroku hit maker was full of vibes and arguably the best on the night as he left the stage while the theming audience yell for more.

Koo Ntakraa, season 2 winner of MTN hit maker was on the good books of the audience with an excellent stage craft, rapping to his own rendition of “Ye mamo afehyiapa” delivered on the live band.

Mzvee is certainly one of Ghana’s sensational singers, thus the crowd gave a rousing round of applause to welcome her on stage, as she delivered an angelic performance.

Bela Munde and Foster Ramanus were a perfect match on the night as MCs, and their delivery was topnotch.

A modern adaptation of the nativity play with comic actor, General Ntatia as the lead character was a rib cracking moment that would stick in the minds of the public.

Mr. Nathan Lee-Winans Annobi, President/COO of Nanatel LTD read the first lesson followed by Vivian Otoo, a beneficiary of the MTN Foundation including media personalities like Nana Aba Anamoa (EIB Network), Dzifa Gray (Metro TV) and Captain of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Amos crimping.

It was indeed a wonderful night at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) for another super event produced by Farmhouse Productions.
