Nominees announced for Nogokpo.com Person of the Year Award

Ghana's leading comedy and parody hub, Nogokpo.com has launched its maiden Person of the Year award to recognise local comedians who have played vital roles and have made a significant impact in the comedy industry in Ghana and beyond in the year 2017.

The award which has 2 categories namely: Person of the Year & Emerging Person of the Year will be hosted at TANOE Hub in Accra.

Nominees for the 2017 Person of the year are:

3. Foster Romanus
4. Funny Face
5. Kalybos
6. Lawyer Nti

Nominees for the Emerging Person of the Year are:

1. Ajeezay
2. China Fon
3. Jacinta
4. Khemikal
5. Lekzy Decomic
6. MJ the Comedian

Sharing more details about the award, co-founder and Editor at Large, Felix G Fate Korku, mentioned, the comedians are being awarded for their dedication, consistency, national appeal, motivation, brand presence and influence over the years in the fast growing industry in Ghana.

Voting has commenced via www.nogokpo.com/vote and will end on 23rd of December, 2017.

The 2017 Nogokpo.com Emerging Person of the Year Award is proudly organized by Nogokpo.com in partnership with Avance Media, WatsUp TV and TANOE Hub.
