Radio & TV personality Vanessa Gyan last Friday brought together a number of pregnant women and post-partum moms at the Ridge Hospital in Accra as part of an empowerment programme called 'Post Pregnancy Boujie Express'.
The event is geared towards making sure that expectant moms and post-partum moms are given all the attention they deserve.
The Live FM presenter believes pregnancy is such a beautiful experience and as such every woman should feel fabulous both during and after pregnancy.
As a result, she collaborated with the Ridge Hospital to organise the event which featured some phenomenal moms as keynote speakers.
Among them were Karen Kane, actress Beverly Aflago, Belinda Boadu, Dania Chaar, TV personality Dzifa Gray and eTV's Fati Shaibu-Ali as the MC.
Each speaker touched on a different topic from post baby dietary plans to single motherhood to balancing career with family.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vanessa Gyan emphasised the need for women to enjoy every aspect of motherhood knowing that they are not alone.
“My experience may be different from the next woman but at the end of the day, we are going through a journey which unites us. We are superhuman,” she said.
Participants of the event received goodie bags filled with beauty products and many more.
