Delay Reveals Why She Ignores Critics And It’s Touching

Radio and TV personality, movie director and entrepreneur, Deloris Frimpong Manso is a household name and certainly needs no introduction.

She is known widely as the ‘say it like that’ presenter, fearless and ‘boastful’ lady who has for the past years consistently hosted her entertainment programme ‘The Delay Show’ and interviewed nearly all celebrities and personalities on the show.

Known for her confidence and bold approach to her interviews, most people have vilified her but Delay has stated on Sunday, October 22 on her ‘Delay Show’ that she cares less about her critics because she is concentrating on enjoying her life.

Delay, who says her show is the ‘number one’ entertainment show, with over many thousands views was being interviewed by radio presenter Andy Dosty, who hosted the show.

Now thirty-three (33) years, Delay revealed that her life was not an easy one growing up, especially after her father died when she was only thirteen (13) years and her mother when she was twenty-one years.

“Even before they both died, my parents had issues. Like my father wasn’t there for us and all that and so I didn’t have it easy growing up; I started enjoying life after I turned thirty,” she disclosed.

According to her, she stays true to herself; she does not pretend therefore she has no time for critics.

“Now that I’m enjoying my life I don’t pay attention to critics. If you have walked in my shoes just for a day then you will understand the many things I have to cope with daily and so I have no time for critics, I’m enjoying my life now,” she said.

Asked if she is still a virgin, Delay declined to give a yes and no answer to that question saying “What if I am or what if I am not?”

She averred that even though she is seen to be a popular person she also has a private life like anybody which indeed she wants to keep private.

“I have my private life too. When I’m on air I’m delay but in private life I’m Deloris...the Deloris who goes for a walk with my dog and then the Delay who sits on TV to talk are two different people,” she said

Delay further reveals that she aims at growing her Delay Brand of Mackerel and Sardines in order that it becomes a generational business for her current and future families.

She stated that she believes she has a place in heaven because she has a good heart – a heart of gold – which everyone around her can attest to.

“If I should die today I will make it to heaven because I am a good person. I have ah heart of gold and everyone around me knows,” she said.
