Godfred Bokpin, manager of ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Patapaa, says he is proud of the achievements chalked by his artiste within a short space of time that he has been in the music industry.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Patapaa’s manager stated that the ‘One Corner’ song has helped in marketing Ghana to the world.

‘One Corner’ currently the biggest song in the country, has seen people go gaga and partake in a social media challenge where they either perch on objects, go under cars, chairs or whatever or isolate themselves on the ground to do a wild gyrating move.

Several celebrities, including Mavin Record signee Reekado Banks and Falz, have recorded themselves partaking in the ‘One Corner’ dance.

According to Patapaa’s manager, the hit song has gone global and has gained attention from international media and famous people.

Godfred Bokpinclaimed his artiste’s song has earned a mention by CNN and has taken Ghana far.

“CNN has reported the song and Chris Brown has also tweeted about the one corner song”, the proud manager disclosed when he was asked why he thinks the ‘One Corner’ song had gone international.

He said “There’s no doubt that the hit song ‘One Corner’ has made its way outside Ghana...with people asking the origin of this song that comes with its weird dance. There are videos of people far and wide dancing to this hit song.”

But should false publicity be taken seriously? Hitz FM’s checks through Chris Brown’s twitter feed to verify the authenticity of the tweet, however, found no tweet concerning the ‘One Corner’ song or Patapaa.

Hitz FM also gathers that the alleged story by CNN on ‘Once Corner’ may have also been photoshopped.
