‘African Queen’ Hit Maker Discloses Why He Changed His Name From 2Face To

Have you ever wondered why 2face suddenly went from being called that to 2baba? Well, you’ll find out today.

The legendary singer was on a radio station in Port Harcourt over the weekend to discuss music, family and the ‘Dare To Mix Festival’ which was his real reason for being in the city in the first place.

Speaking on his name-change, the Campari ambassador said it was inspired by growth and the need to have a more Nigerian element to his brand.

He said that although a few people had been calling him the name 2baba for a while, he officially dropped the name 2face for 2baba when he turned 40.

The singer was in the Rivers State capital for Campari’s annual cocktail festival, Dare to Mix.
