American-Nigerian fashion stylist to the stars, Kanayo Ebi has expanded her New York based showroom this week, signing Los Angeles fashion label and designer Angelica Curtis.

The “Kach Me If You Can” Showroom welcomes its very first west coast ready to wear designer of the season to its roster, which also includes New York based designer Ezie, UK designers Prelim, RAAAH, Rahima Mohamed Couture and Nigerian luxury fashion label Chidinma Obairi.

The LA native designer and graduate from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), who’s talent has been refined under esteemed fashion brands such as BCBG and Topson Downs, self-titled label features a collection of affordable contemporary transitional season colours and pieces, embodying true femininity with an array of ready to wear silhouettes and styles, designed for day and eveningwear.

The showroom, situated in the thriving arts community of Long Island City, aims to bridge the gap between emerging designers from different parts of the globe and the fashion industry on the look out for authentic and contemporary ground breaking designs through the use of PR, branding and styling.

Kanayo Ebi, the showroom’s CEO, whose styling credits ranges from Oscar Award winning actress Kate Winslet to Grammy nominated rapper J Cole and TV personalities Angela and Vanessa Simmons, said:

“We are thrilled to have Angelica Curtis on board as her creative styles and passion for affordable transitional clothing is exactly what the showroom states for. We’re excited to work with such a talent and share our desire to showcase west coast fashion internationally. ”
