250 students last Saturday graduated from SAMJETMedia institute located at Amasaman. The first batch of students, male 120 and female 130 studied for the six month period Marketing, Media Law, News Presentation, News Gathering and Journalism.

The grandaunts exhibited their talent on the day with some of the students reading news and others Disc Jockeying.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the administrator of the school, William Kofi Attipoe said the main aim of SAMJET Media institute is to change the face of journalism through Christianity.

According to him, he has high hopes that students from the school will make a mark when they step out to practise whatever they have been taught at school.

The owner of the school Nana Yaw Sarfoh of Vision 1 FM noted that he is proud of his students for completing a six months intensive course adding that he is overwhelmed the turnout of students.

“I wanted only 30 students when I started my media school but here I am today with 250 students. All I can say is I thank God for how far He has brought me” he told Daily Graphic in an interview.

According to him, he stands for the truth and with his media school, he is very positive he can change the face of the media by impacting the truth through his students.

“ I have never taken bribe before and it is simply because I stand for the truth. I want my students to always stand for the truth no matter the situation they find themselves in” he added.
