Ghana has in recent years seen an increase in the occurrence of cardiovascular related ailments and disabilities, a rise in the rate of malignant diseases and cancers and a growing number of aged population.

In their quest to improve their socioeconomic statuses and livelihoods, most working class and the general populace are so burdened with the care of their aged parents, chronically and terminally ill relatives that, they most of the times request that these vulnerable groups be made to stay in the hospital for protracted time, employ the care of unprofessional caregiver or leave them to their fates in deprived impoverished communities, which end up worsening the plights of these vulnerable yet valuable citizens of our societies.

Studies have shown that seniors who are engaged in activities they find meaningful are far more likely to retain mental acuity, physical health and emotional well-being.

The aforementioned coupled with their experience in the health care delivery in Ghana and elsewhere has culminated their desire to establish a multidisciplinary, nonpartisan, non-governmental organization in Ghana and elsewhere in Africa to deliver the expert care that has eluded our senior citizens and terminally ill patients over the years, to them in their communities free of charge.
