Musician Pledges Support For Free SHS With Proceeds From His Music

Ghanaian born rapper Oteng Oliver, popularly known as Tee Rhyme says he has in consultations with his management, Maskalinx Entertainment, decided to donate 90% of the proceeds from his latest song "Asankulele" to the Ministry of Education to support the Free SHS policy initiated by government of Ghana.

In an exclusive interview with Nana Kwesi Asare(Air Marshall), Tee Rhyme recounted the difficulties his parents went through to see him complete SHS, especially financial constraints.

"It got to a time that I had to go to the farm to fetch food stuffs, head to the market to sell before I can get part of my school fees arrears paid.”

“You can imagine the effect that this situation had on my secondary school education. I have therefore, in consultations with my management, decided to donate 90% of my proceeds from Asankulele single to Ministry of Education as my contribution to the policy as a Ghanaian," he stated.

The rapper declared full support to the free SHS policy and said it will go a long way to re-fix Ghana's ailing economy since majority of the youth will be educated and skillfully trained to work in various sectors.

He therefore hinted that paper works with the ministry of education and his management are on course.

From the Camp of Maskalinx Music rapper; He is Oteng Oliver known in the industry as Tee Rhyme which symbolized his hair style. He raps on all kinds of music genres; hip-hop, afrobeat, afropop, highlife, hiplife and dancehall with marvelous skills.

He has been able to record timeless tunes and featured great and well-known artists.

He came out with my first single "Am Bad" which he featured kueiQu Knicklez, which had a massive downloads from different downloading sites.

He also has a way of making music stick to your mind with jargons that are repetitive. He recently dropped (6) hot bangers; first he featured the sensation duo Gallaxy on his “Sexy Party” song. Few months this year he dropped another hot banger “Yete Abr3” which he featured one of the finest rappers and sound engineers Cabum and this banger has become a "hotcake" in Ghana.

Later he decided to try his rap style on a dancehall beat and he was on point, to believe what I’m talking about, just try searching Tee Rhyme feat Bredren B “Turn of the Light”, “Diwofie Asem” feat Koo Ntakra, Yaabaata which literally means “Spoil” and ''Too Much'' feat Luther you’ll know what I’m talking about.

This Rapper recently dropped another hip-hop banger “Bokoor De3” meaning “is everything cool”, which was his last song for the year 2016. He just released a new hit this month he calls "keep on talking."
