AJ Sarpong, SWAG Of Africa, Zion Felix And Others Honored At The JD Nightlife Awards 2017 Media Launch

The JACK DANIELS NIGHTLIFE AWARDS 2017 has been launched at an exclusive media soiree with representatives of some of the most influential media brands in the nightlife industry.

As part of the event, selected nightlife bloggers and social media influencers were rewarded for their contributions to promoting the nightlife industry. Live Fm and GHOne’s AJ Sarpong, ZionFelix.com , Starbuzz Tv and SwagofAfrica.com were amongst those rewarded with the limited edition Jack Fire toolkits.

Speaking at the event, Richard Bouclous, Brands Manager, Jack Daniels Ghana, stated that the JD Nightlife Awards is set to become an annual awards event to recognize and reward the most outstanding brands and personalities in the nightlife industry.

Derick Addai-Darko, PR & Events Manager of Jack Daniels intimated that the awards is in acknowledgement of the hard work and dedication of industry players as well as the rapid growth of the nightlife industry which has seen it become the hub of all evolving lifestyle trends in popular culture in the Ghanaian society especially among the youthful to middle age demographic.

He also assured the media that the awards scheme is here to stay and will take place consistently every year.

The awards will award nightlife brands and outlets as well as personalities from across the country in 15 categories with 10 public voting categories.

The public can choose their preferred nominee in the public voting categories through the following steps; Follow @jackdaniels_gh on IG or Jack Daniels Ghana on Facebook. Post official JD NIGHTLIFE AWARDS nominee picture on Instagram and Facebook with the official hashtag comprising #Name+category and #JDNightlifeAwards. Winners of the Public voting categories will be selected strictly based on fan posts via social media.

Full list of categories and nominees will be released on Wednesday 31^st May, 2017.
