I'm Aiming At Winning Grammy Awards For Ghana - Lily M

Female traditional and afro pop artiste;Lily M has revealed candidly that she is aiming at winning Grammy awards for Ghana.

Lily M ,who is well noted with the hit song ‘Strength of a Woman made the pronouncement in an inspiring interview with Sheriff on Obonu Fm:

‘’ I am not fighting for awards but if they come my way I will grab them. I have my eyes on winning Grammys for the country’’, she said.

The Afro pop singer confessed she has heard a lot of scary things which happen in the local music industry but believes she can attract positive people to herself because she is pure, focused and spiritually in-line.

According to her, looking at what she has been through so far as a female artist, she has so much respect for the ladies who have been able to gain grounds in the music industry.

She also seized the opportunity to emphasize her Strength of a woman foundation which seeks to encourage women and young ladies to strive for success in life. She disclosed that her foundation is about to embark on a nationwide SHS tour to speak with young ladies in secondary institutions.

She furthermore highlighted on the need for Ghanaians to support their local artists, stating that if Ghanaian artists are given the push and the needed support, they could do better on the international market.

Lily M is currently on radio tour in the greater Accra region promoting her songs ‘’Strength of a woman and Odo dea which features Ghana’s rap doctor, Okyeame Kwame. She intends to take the tour to radio stations in other parts of the country after she is done with the capital.
