One of Ghana's talented but not well celebrated gospel musician Mr Kojo Obeng Barima, known in the showbiz circles as KOB might be going higher this time with his second album "Yesu Dea" which has started enjoying massive air playing.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Today entertainment in Accra, the motivational and inspirational gospel singer KOB hinted that the "Yesu Dea" album, featuring OJ a renowned gospel icon will be launched in May this year.

The "Yesu Dea" singer who is still determined and focused despite all odds to complete his mission as a musician, which started four (4) years ago, said he was of the view that the album will move higher than his debut album.

KOB explained further that his debut album titled "Gyae su" went so well but didn't get to level he anticipated due to some financial difficulties and lack of a producer to push it across.

The "Yesu Dea" album has seven-tracks with other songs like Awieye ne Asem, Give Your Best to God, Posible, Adam Nana, Nyame ye, and Okokroko - featuring another renewed female gospel icon Ceccy Twum.

One of the track "Awieye ne Asem" which the 'big boy' OJ featured in is said to blow the minds of music lovers due to its rich content and lyrics.

According to KOB the "Awieye ne Asem" track was a direct message from God calling all man kind to fellow Jesus Christ at this end-time no matter what the circumstances might be.

He advised the youth especially to be patient in life and not rush to acquire worldly things because what is important in once life is not how he/she began life but how she/he end is the most important.

The 28-year-old gospel musician reiterated that he is ready to give his all out as a gospel musician and live by the dictates of Christ. We the gospel musicians have to live a Christ like life to encourage others to follow him. He added.

The motivational and inspirational singer hinted that his doors are open to receive any form of assistants and production deal to help promote the songs to reach the rest of the world.

KOB is currently perusing a Bachelor degree in Communication Studies at the Ghana Institute of Journalism in Accra.
