The arrival of raga music in Ghana has given birth to prominent crop of young artistes like Samini, Bandana, Yoggy Doggy and the late Terry Bonchaka whose works have often become hits in the industry.

Borax aka Nathaniel A Larbie is set to keep the fire burning.

The 25 year old artiste, who caused a stir with his first controversial album Asee Ho which features Daddy Lumba, is out with a third one titled Tene Wo Nsa after a long break from the music scene following the relatively low patronage of his second album.

Tene wo nsa, the album title, is a good slow-paced reggae piece which has received a lot of airplay to the delight of most music loves in the country.

Apart from enjoying the melody and rhythm of this music, the lyrics preach a good message about the beauty of giving out of love. “If God has blessed you with riches, stretch your hands and give to the needy because life is all about love” he sings.

Another favourite on the album is Mafe Odo which adopts a fusion of highlife and Jamaican dancehall beats. This song which talks about the singer's desire to get back his lover after a long period of loneliness is sure to get the listener on his dancing feet.

The young artiste justifies why this album is a hit as he shits to his native tongue, Ga in a mid-tempo song title Nke Bo Baa Ya which features Adane Best.

Though most of the songs of this album appeal to people of all ages, Borax gets more on the youthful side with a message of unity as he brings together some of Ghana's top raga artistes in the persons of MOBO Award Winner Batman Samini, Bandana, Bacteria, Blazie and the late Bonchaka on the song titled Bees Squad.

The “Bees” in the title of this song represents the alphabet “B” which is used here as the name of the group of raga artistes featured on it since their names also being with the same alphabet.

Interestly, this album was recorded years back since it features the late Terry Bonchaka who died in 2003.

Currently he has plans of using this album to raise funds to assist some selected orphanages in the country.
