Kwasi Twum celebrated in 7th issue of Exclusive Men's Magazine

Kwasi Twum, CEO of Ghana’s most influential media company, The Multimedia Group has been celebrated in the 7^th issue of the Exclusive Men’s Magazine.

Mr Twum is among a number of business executives and achievers who have been acknowledged and celebrated in the ‘Inspiring Greatness Edition’ of the magazine that was launched at the Alliance Motors showroom in Accra Thursday night.

The magazine highlighted him as “the visionary, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Multimedia. He was previously the Executive Chairman of Ridgecrest Services Limited.

“Kwasi is a fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative of the Aspen Institute, an Executive Council Member of the Ghana Employers’ Association. and immediate past President of the Ghana Independent Broadcasters' Association (GIBA). He is also a member of the Board of the SOS Children’s Villages, Ghana,” part of the write up said.

“In 2010, he was honoured by the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) for his contribution to the growth of the media. Kwasi has been voted by PriceWaterhouseCoopers as one of the Top 10 CEOs in Ghana consistently since 2008 and in 2012 he was recognized as the Sixth Most Respected CEO in the country. Kwasi holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ghana and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School,” the article continued.

In June, last year, Mr Twum was honoured at the maiden edition of the Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Awards at the Banquet Hall, State House.

The honour was in recognition of his enormous contribution to the growth of the private media landscape and championing media excellence in Ghana.

Mr Twum was honoured together with Dr Kwame Osei Despite, CEO of the Despite Group Companies, operators of Peace FM amongst others.

The Multimedia Group has been in the media and entertainment business for the past 21 years. The company has under its umbrella, Joy FM, Adom FM, Luv FM, Nhyira FM, Hitz FM, Asempa FM, MultiTV – Joy News TV, Joy Prime and Adom TV.

The company also operates Myjoyonline.com and Adomonline.com.

Some of the other business executives and personalities celebrated in the 7^th issue of the Exclusive Men’s Magazine are, Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, Chairman/Founder of Groupe Nduom and Dr Kwabena Duffour, Chairman of HODA Group, former Bank of Ghana Governor and former Minister of Finance and Economic Planning.

Dr. Beatrice Wiafe, Chief Executive Officer of Peace & Love Hospitals; Azumah Nelson, World Boxing Hall of Famer; Sheik Osman Nuhu Sharabutu, National Chief Imam; James Ebo Whyte, CEO Roverman Productions; and rapper Sarkodie were also celebrated by the magazine.
