Creative house BEKOFI which holds rights to the Ignite Talks, is set to hold Ignite Accra on 25th February, 2017 – Accra’s first edition of the internationally-acclaimed Ignite Talks.

The Ignite Talks is a series of short, speedy, fun presentations in which speakers share their innovative and inspiring ideas in 20 automatically-advancing quick slides.

Ignite which bears the tagline “Enlighten us but make it quick”, originated from Seattle, Washington, in 2006. Ten years after its inception, BEKOFI which holds the rights to Ignite in Accra, will introduce the talks at the Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall, at 10:00 am.

“In the past ten years of its existence, thousands of Ignite Talks have been held in hundreds of universities, cities and other venues, and we are pleased we’re finally about to organize the first edition in Accra – a city which has no reason to be left out,” Miss Adelaide Drah, the Communications Manager of BEKOFI said.

Speakers for the maiden edition of Ignite Accra include branding expert Bernard Kelvin Clive who will speak on “Rebrand You”, spoken word artist Rhyme Sonny who will speak on “Poetry”, Joyce Ahiadorme, the Corporate Affairs Manager of Voltic whose presentation is titled “Ask the why”; and digital media expert Kwabena Okyire Appianing whose topic is “The Value of a Social Media Post”. The speakers will also receive and respond to questions from the audience after their presentations.

Ignite Accra is expected to attract attendees from tertiary institutions and the general public, who have already booked their free seats.

Admission to Ignite Accra, powered by BEKOFI, Oliv Radio and the Silverbird Cinemas, is absolutely free.
