JAN 20, 2017 LISTEN

At last the Netherlands based gospel artist Evelyn Amo, will be having a free “Live In Ghana” concert on the 18th February 2017 at the ICGC Auditorium - Mercy Temple, Roman Ridge in Accra dubbed Eden Experience. This concert is a much anticipated experience especially after her June 2016 Live In Amsterdam concert did so well.

In our previous article (click here to read it), we assured you Evelyn Amo is back from maternity leave for good. Because after releasing her hit song “Step By Step” in November 2003 and touring the Caribbean, she dropped everything to raise her kids. But she's back with full vim!

Also supporting her at the Eden Experience are some of the most renowned and powerful artists in Africa; Nii Okai, Koda, Ps. Isaiah, Donald Quao, Willie & Mike, Ike Nanor, Jeshurun Okyere, Diana Hopeson, Mercy Sackey and many more. Henry Datsumor is the music director for the evening and Pastor Nana Yaw and the entire ICGC Mercy Temple is hosting this event.

When we spoke with Berima Amo (husband) & Evelyn Amo, this is what they had to say; We are so excited to minister to our nation Ghana. “Eden Experience (Back to the heart of worship) was birthed prayerfully out of the need to return to the very essence of worship. The bible teaches us that, God is specific about the kind of worship we should bring Him. The work of Jesus was to restore us back to the Father, and for us to experience His presence like Adam & Eve did before the fall. We will declare a thing with our songs and instruments over Ghana and it shall be established.”

Berima & Evelyn Amo have a passion for creating awareness for sickle cell anaemia anywhere they go to sing. Their son Adoye struggles with sickle cell and they are trusting God for his touch any moment. They make it a point to share their story and shine a little light on their struggle with the illness, thus encouraging and strengthening families and sickle cell careers around the world.

Evelyn Amo is excited to be back in her country of birth. Even though she previously did events in South Africa, this will be her first ever concert in Ghana. We are predicting the 600 seater auditorium to be packed. Because the feedback and enthusiasm Ghanaians have exhibited through phone calls and on social media has been amazing. Don't miss out if you are in Ghana.
