Accra-based radio and television talk show host on relationship, marriage, love and sex, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, known in private life as Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi, took home the Most Popular Show of the Year at this year's edition of the Television Awards Ghana held at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra last Friday, August 14.

Her talk show programme, Odo Ahomaso, brings together outstanding personalities, seasoned motivational speakers and well-experienced speakers on marriage, love and sex to teach, discuss and also solve related issues. The programme is very engaging, informative and educative.

Odo Ahomaso is broadcast live on Adom FM from 10:00pm to 12:00am GMT on every Wednesday and Saturday and telecast live from 11:00pm to 1:00am GMT on every Thursday and Friday on Adom TV on Multi TV.

Odo Ahomaso remains one of the longest running and most consistent late night shows on family, relationship, marriage and sex in the history of Ghanaian radio and television, and it is carried nationwide and worldwide by several affiliates, local and international radio stations.

Akumaa Mama Zimbi, who is among the most influential TV and radio personality in Ghana, was named as the 50^th Most Influential Personality in Ghana in the year 2013.

She is the founder and executive director of Mama Zimbi Foundation (MZF), a non-governmental organisation which initiated the Widows Alliance Network (WANE) that supports vulnerable widows and their needy children, with membership of over 8,000 widows across Ghana.
