''Budding Ghanaian Actress Faustina Manu Optimistic Of Success In The Industry''

Faustina Manu may not be a household name in Ghana's movie industry at the point in time but has won the heart of many through her professionalism and passion for the art. The 28-year old dazzling actress who has two (2) siblings hails from Ashanti-Mampong in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Her parents are deceased and admits getting through the hustle and bustle of life has not been easy but has since her acting venture been working hard to get to the top.

Her acting instinct was identified by the producer of the ground-breaking television series, Jamestown Fisherman known as Blade.

”He informed me to be on set to have an idea about how the whole production ensue after which a script was given to me and it was just perfect for me,” she said.

Asked whether the family has been supportive of her chosen career, she was quick to state that ”yes they do.' She however sighed when asked about how she sees the Ghana movie industry noting that it is getting better everyday but there is more room for improvement.

Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson is her role model in acting and she admits it is because of her solemnity in every single role she plays.

”I envisage myself to be one of the most sort-after actresses on the continent in few years to come. I think mostly I need to pray and work hard towards this chosen career,” she acknowledged.

She has since advised everyone not to give up in life and admonished most especially the youth ”to identify, develop their talent and always remember to pray to God for guidance and protection.”
