Award-winning highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena has expressed disappointment over the criticism directed at gospel musician Sonnie Badu for dancing to his “Adult Music” song during his wedding ceremony.

According to the artiste, he doesn't see anything wrong with the gospel musician dancing to his music and urged critics to get over it.

“I see nothing wrong with it,” he stated in an interview with Hitz FM and rather admonished people to support the gospel musician now that he is married not criticise him.

Sonnie Badu got married to his long-time girlfriend Ann-Marie last Saturday, August 23 in Northumberland, London.

During the ceremony, Sonnie Badu and his wife Ann danced to Kwabena Kwabena's hit song “Adult Music” which featured dancehall artiste, Samini.

The dance has generated a huge public debate with many condemning him, a Man of God, dancing to a secular song.

Notable among the critics is Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International.

He stated that playing a secular music in the house of God is against the word of God.

“A worldly song should not be played in the house of God. If a Christian is marrying in the presence of God and pastors in the church premises, you cannot play child's game there. No matter the status of the person in the society – whether pastor, musician or anybody, if you are getting married in the house of God, you should never play a secular music” Rev. Bempah explained.
