Slim To Share With Society

One of Ghana’s finest musicians, Mr. Ebenezer Asare a.k.a. Slim Busterr, has formed the Slim Busterr Global Foundation to share what he has reaped from society with needy and underprivileged children.

He seeks to mobilize funds through musical performances and soliciting from international sources to fulfill his long cherished dream.

Slim Busterr in an interview after the launching of the foundation said he had been reflecting on how to bring back the smile on the faces of deprived children whose parents could not provide their basic needs let alone see them through school.

He explained that his musical performances have taken him to the most deprived communities of the country and one could readily see the abject poverty that existed in most of the rural communities.

Launching the foundation, the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, Alhaji Sidiku Buari called on all musicians to support need children.

He said children play a major role in the future of every country and they deserve maximum attention.

The Director of Social Welfare, Mrs. Mart Amadu pointed out that poverty and diseases continue to pose serious challenges to the attainment of basic human right, security and the well being of the Ghanaian children.

She congratulated Slim Busterr for a right decision taken and urged all musicians to support it.
