This is a little something I penned down after seeing a flawless and vibrant performance of Africa's Dancehall King, Samini at the GUINNESS Eruption Concert on Saturday.
The Samini Moment:
Rock of ages with a decade's earmark,
The shatter of Shattas,
The eyeless sees his shine,
The deaf appreciates his songs,
He is a beef, yet an offal for peer- performers,
A phial for the weak performers
A viol for the weak instruments,
A flue to the eyeful, yet inherently eyeful,
One who brings the philia in the evil-eye,
Ended up getting all the plaudits from critics,
Charisma like Obama yet persistent like Putin
Sings like Presley yet rocks like Jackson
