
A new beauty pageant aimed at promoting made in Ghana products has been launched in Accra.
Miss Buy Ghana an initiative under the auspices of A2Z Firm Movement in conjunction with the Ministries of Trade & Industry, Information & Media Relation and Tourism, Culture & Creative Art is aimed at selling Ghana to the outside world.
Twenty young, bold, beautiful, eloquent and purpose-driven Ghanaian ladies, two from each region, would be selected as finalists for this year's Miss Buy Ghana pageant.
Audition is free and will take place at the Ghana Trade Fair Center, Accra, on the 21st and the 22nd in June. The time is 10am to 6pm each day.
Weight and height are not considered but prospective contestants must be 18 and above.
After auditions, the next activities are an exhibition at the Trade Fair Center in the month of July to August, housing of the contestants for two weeks and an industrial tour within the same month. here, the public will buy to support a contestant.
In this case, coupons are to be given to buyers to fill and submit at the same venue. The third phase is the final which is in the month of August. This is where we discover who wears the crown for the maiden edition of Miss Buy Ghana 2013.
