
May 18th, 2013: After a successful premiere of the 6th installment to the Fast and Furious Film Series, Ghana's number one entertainment hub, Silverbird Cinemas has once again partnered with Telecoms Brand of the Year, Vodafone Ghana to premiere 'Man of Steel' on 21st June, 2013.
Man of Steel is a brand new 2013 American superhero movie directed by the Award winning Christopher Nolan, who is known for directing top rated movies including the 'Bat Man begins', 'The Dark Night' and 'The Dark Night Rises'.
Marketing executive of Silverbird, Priscilla Gyamfi noted that, 'this is the fourth major premiere Silverbird is holding and following the success of our previous premieres, we believe 'Man of Steel' is going to be huge. We thank Vodafone for partnering with us the second time for another premiere'.

'Man of Steel' is a reboot of the Superman film series, and stars Henry Carvill, known for his outstanding performance in 'The Count of Monte Christo', 'Immortals', 'Red Riding Hood', 'Stardust' among other top rated movies. In 'A Man of Steel', a young boy realizes that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. He then embarks on a journey to discover where he came from and what he was sent to do on this planet. The hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.
