Miss Ghana 2012 Naa Okailey Shooter is currently on holidays in the United States of America. Miss Shooter left Accra two weeks ago and has since been in the States.
A break well deserved, Miss Shooter, who helped out as guest-judge at the 2013 Miss Ghana auditions, has been cooling off, touring some sites as well as met some wonderful people.
The much-needed personal holidays is also coming after months of active involvement in her infant maternal mortality project, which saw her go up and down the Northern Region of Ghana, where she is helping to bring relief to hundreds of households.
She is expected back home in the coming days, just in time for the Miss Ghana 2013 finals in July and also to prepare for the Miss World event.
In a related development, contestants of this year's event have been going through mentoring, lifestyle and coaching sessions at the hands of trained instructors.
This year's finals will be held in July.
