Lil Win Steals Show At VGMA 2013

The Kumasi based Actor and comedian, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known in the movie industry as Lil WIN, electrified the auditorium of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2013, with his comedy to attract of laughter and shouts from the audience.

At the VGMA13, he first appeared on the red carpet where he was interviewed by the C.E.O of Aphrodisiac Nite club, Confidence, who co- presented the red carpet segment of the awards night with live 91.9fm radio presenter, Benny Blanco.

The red carpet interviews was aired live both at the main auditorium and GHone Television, with interviews of music and movie celebrities plus other important dignitaries, but none had the responds LIL Win had when he appeared on the screens; both people at home and in the main auditorium.

The whole auditorium came alive with laughter and deafening noise by fans acknowledging the presence of a true star, and a very funny one at that.

Like any other person who came on the red carpet, when asked about his outfit, he told Confidence that he designed it himself. When she went on to inquire about his belt, Micky mouse spectacles and bowl tier, Lil Win told Confidence he bought the belt from Belgium in Europe, Micky mouse spectacles and bowl tire from Holland.

Each answer he gave got uncontrollable laughter from the audience in the auditorium.

Finally when the king of jargons and vocabulary, Patinton Nii Papafio, popularly called Esophagus, introduced him as the master of ceremony for the awards night, the audience went 'crazy'.

After the introduction, he gave a couple of dance moves and an SDA joke.

Until he announced kofi Okere Darko, as the M.C, everybody was enjoying his dance moves and his rip cracking jokes.

His last appearance on stage was when Amanda Jissih and Deborah Vanessa appeared on the stage to present an award to the Best Male Vocal, which he announced the winner as Knii Lante.

Even though he spent less than twenty minutes in total, on screen and on stage, he left a lasting happy impression about his actions at the VGMA13; that will come up anytime one talks about Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2013.
