Bola Ray celebrates 10 years on Joy FM

Such a milestone is not an easy fit and to achieve that, you need God's grace and one hell of talent, and yes Bola Ray, born Kwabena Anokye Adisi is an embodiment of that.

Bola Ray, who is clearly the undisputed King of your evening radio, has handle his profession with such agility making him one, if not, the fiercest radio personalities to have graced Ghanaian and West African radio.

A decade ago, Bola Ray joined the Multimedia family filling big shoes and also carving a niche for himself: many listeners and close associates will attest to the fact that he has etched his name in the history books.

May 17, 2013 being exactly ten years since he started treating listeners of the Super Station Joy 99.7 FM, to rich radio contents, the Emperor is planning to celebrate it big!

A host of activities are lined up for this big day and it all starts on radio!

To kick off activities, the Habour City Mass Choir joined Bola Ray live on air to thrill listeners with soothing gospel tunes.

As the celebration hits a crescendo, several celebrities including R2Bees, Asem, D-Black, Stonebowy and a host of other made their way into the studios to help the living legend celebrate his day.

R2Bess treated listeners to a live performance of the smash hit It's Alright.

There will be a special drink up at the forecourt of Joy FM tonight to be followed by an after party at the Excel Lounge.
