Event organizers and owners of the entertainment TV station GH One, Charter House, have, for the second time, left their viewers stranded after rendering a shabby telecast of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Industry Night on Friday.
Charter House had promised their viewers that since the event was strictly by invitation, they were going to show it live on GH One.
After sampling some comments and updates from various social platforms, BEATWAVES gathered that viewers were not at all pleased with the picture and sound quality of the event.
'GH One, are you guys telling us that you can no longer transmit your events live? Now I fear for Saturday because if this small Industry Night sef you can't handle it, then how much more the main event itself. This is the second time you guys have disappointed us and I must say that your credibility is at stake,'one frustrated viewer posted on his Facebook wall.
Meanwhile, the Director of Production at GH One Entertainment TV Nii Ayite Hammond has admitted their mistakes and has also rendered what he calls his 'sincere apologies' on behalf of Charter House to viewers over the poor transmission.
According to the Director of Production, everything was ok before the VGMA Industry Night started but they did not know why the technical problem happened.
'During the day, we did our various checks and everything was ok but we don't know what happened. We have learnt our lesson and we can assure our viewers that on Saturday, this technical problem won't repeat itself.' By myjoyonline
