
Born Adekoya Adegboyega, 'Lineo' is gradually winning the heart of music fans with his newly introduced style of music, 'Funky High'. The song is a blend of Afro beats, Funk, Hip and House Music (a feeling of freedom). He explained the new genre as a complete deviation from the regular Nigerian contemporary hip hop.
Known as the 'Fresh bouy', the Mass Communication diploma holder has put his certificate on hold to join the strong heart of Reggie Rockstone with a hope to make the new genre hold like that of Hip Life in Ghana. Being a ricks taker, Lineo believes that his invention would soon open a new chapter in the African market. Haven toured the United States with a performance at the House Music Festival in Miami this year, The Elepepe Master is due for a radio tour in Ghana come September, 2012.

The Icon Awards winner, 'Nigeria most promising artist in 2008' was the first generation artiste to perform at the New York Apollo Theatre in 2009. Winning the NPA International act award in 2011, Lineo performed in that year's FELABRATION alongside Femi Kuti and over 100 African musicians at the Afrika Shrine in remembrance of the late legend, FELA.
