Stars Thrill Fans @ Ghana Meets Naija Concert
The Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre was set ablaze last Saturday June 30 when patrons who attended the Ghana Meets Naija musical concert abandoned their seats and danced the night away.
The event kicked off on a promising note and it definitely lived up to the expectation, shaking the capital with dazzling performances from some of the finest artistes.
Indeed, both the Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes who performed at the event virtually sent the enthusiastic patrons into a frenzy, when they took the stage in turns and treated fans to an unforgettable performance.
Kwaw Kese, who mounted the stage after fans had witnessed performances by Kaakie and Bino, Guru, Sala and a few others, was consistent and controlled the crowd.
He delighted music fans with some of his hit songs, which were embedded in the hearts of Ghanaians. He set the whole auditorium on fire with his stagecraft and unique class of delivery.
It was quite a spectacle as Kwaw Kese treated the excited fans to some serious dance moves on stage. No one was seen sitting; everybody was standing dancing their hearts out.
The event also witnessed performances from Keche who sang some hit songs including Aluguntogui and impressed fans with their stagecraft and dance moves.
The night would have been incomplete if the Nigerian artistes had not performed. Nigerian stars whose performances turned the auditorium upside down included Brymo, Davido and Tiwa Savage.
On the night, Tiwa Savage was one of the Nigerians artistes who gave a good account of themselves on stage. The sexy music star had a very strong stage presence and was cheered on all the way through her display.
Brymo who also charmed patrons with his creative skills, stagecraft and class of performance, apart from exhibiting his usual vocal abilities and dancing skills, got the entire audience singing along.
The sensational hiplife group, 4×4, mounted the stage with fire and was consistent.
Some great performances on the night that deserve mention came from Tema-based R2Bees with their hit Ajei track as well as one of Ghana's brightest rap sensations, Cartoon of Talented Kids fame who also drove the audience mad with his sleek freeclass rap.
