Bradaz, a hiplife duo have started admonishing the youth not to allow themselves to be used as stooges for destruction by self-seeking politicians as the country goes to the polls in December.
In an interview with Focus FM's Kwame Poku (DJ Scientific), Stone, one of the Bradaz said their new song, “medo me Ghana”, is intended to showcase Ghana in a positive light to the rest of the world as well as to emphasise the need to maintain the fragile peace the country enjoys.
“Medo me Ghana” is a song written by the Bradaz about Ghana with the help of people like Kankam (formerly Kayci), Kabum, Peewee and Senyo, a beat maker who did the original beat for the song.
Stone says Bradaz have been on the quiet for some time now, trying to come out with “special songs” for their fans. According to the rapper, it is not just about rushing to come out with a song, but rather, about ensuring quality for their fans.
Asked where they want to be in the next five years, Stone, the elder of the duo said they envision themselves being a household name in places like South Africa, Nigeria and even the United States.
The new song which the Bradaz believe is going to be a big success has been receiving great air play on The Voice of America and will start playing on channel “O” on the 1st of July.
They want their fans to check the song out and download it for free on their facebook page or from any of the numerous websites on which they have placed the song.
