I'm in love with Bomaye: Harriet evicted

Harriet was evicted Sunday

Harriet became the second maiden to see her hopes of winning the heart of Alex Bomaye Biney dashed after she was evicted from the I'm in love with Bomaye reality show Sunday.

She was up for eviction alongside Blay, Sylvia and Princy. She was clearly the unlucky one as she not only fell out of favour with the King, but performed poorly when the votes were tallied.

On the eviction night, the King as usual gathered the 11 remaining maidens in the hall and with three strings of beads and a present in his hands. As the rules of the game goes the maiden who receives the present goes home.

Of the four, Alex called Sylvia first and said to her, “You are looking good,” and quizzed “If you stay what would you do different?”

With a response that she was going to fight harder for his love, the King fastened one string of beads round her waist and hugged her.

Alex called up Blay and observed that he did not get to see much of her during the week but noted, “you gave me a VIP pass yesterday [Saturday] and today [Sunday] I want to reciprocate that.” He tied to her waist another string of beads and asked her to step up her game.

It was now a two horse race between Princy and Harriet and the tension and anxiety mounted as each dreaded receiving the present and prayed fervently for the remaining beads.

Amidst nervy tensions, the King called up Princy. He pointed out that he put her up for eviction because “you crossed a certain line with me. After that I found it hard to trust you,” but admitted that she made the attempt to change that and subsequently handed her a bead.

With the three beads all gone, it was now obvious that Harriet had been evicted after three weeks in the Royal Reality House.

The King thanked her for her stay in the house, gave her a long hug and muttering the words, “I'm sorry.” Harriet exchanged hugs and goodbyes with the remaining maidens and left.

A very religious Harriet told Timothy Bentum, host of the eviction that, she enjoyed her stay in the house.

Apparently she was noted as the hardworking maiden who was always cleaning the house especially the kitchen.

According to her, she took her fellow maidens as her “sisters” although Becky and Chichi were her favourites.

Harriet dispelled the notion that the show was of no value stressing I'm in love with Bomaye is not only about falling in love with a man but also it is to educate the public.”
