Reports reaching us from the camp of Gold coast studio and X busterrs production has it that the 1986 dance champ who doubles as an actor and a producer Slim De Dancing Bagad Busterr will be releasing his new Azonto single in June.
According to Slim's management, the single was supposed to be released this month but has been push to June because of the ban on noise making in the capital city.
Speaking to Slim, he noted that his absence in the Azonto scene for the past 2 to 3years after the release of the "Nhyira" album wasn't because he can't match the new trend or face of the hiplife music but rather had to take his time to release something good for his fans both in and outside Ghana. " Releasing an album is not just any job you can do in just some few months especially when you are a very good, experience musician and understand your studio work. I have never lacked anything in music as some people have percieved in my absence and still not lacking. I can release anytime because I have all my music equipment but like I said you really need to plan, write and compose good and long lasting songs for your fans". Slim stated.
He also stated that he will be releasing a full album this year and then go back on set for his second movie. "Now I'm doing both things and so right from my music I jump to the movie but always does one at a time. Atleast now that I'm through with my 1000000000th album, I will be working on my second movie.
In his advice for the Ghanaian youth towards the general election this year, Slim said " Ghana belongs to the youth and therefore we should do anything to maintain the peace we have in the country. We have no where to go to if we should fight come 7th December. It time to make a decision with your thumb and not blows or guns. We should avoid any form of disagreement so we can all live together as one beautiful people. "Mr. Macho man" put Ghana first, put Ghana at heart. Let all live in peace as one people. long live Ghana.
