Decision time for IconsWaves
18.05.2012 LISTEN

The time is up; the time to decide which trio becomes winner of the novelle Vodafone Icons Mixed Edition is tonight.

The three trios namely Black n Peach, Vybez and Waves meet at the National Theatre in Accra after battling their way through other five groups to emerge the finalists.

The big question is, who will walk home with the ultimate prize, Kia Sorento, tonight? The winner also takes away a guaranteed one year performance contract, and an opportunity to perform at the huge 020 Live Concert scheduled to come off later in the year.

Although the three groups have battled their way through this far, they have tonight to prove to the judges comprising Appietus, Gena West and Miss Naa the best they have in them and convince them why they should be given the ultimate prize.

The audiences have also been playing a huge part in the decision making. This year, the organisers have given the public an unprecedented one hundred per cent voting rights and throughout the contest members of the public have demonstrated their preferences and have determined who stays and who leaves the Icons competition

The Black n Peach group is made up of Emma Orleans- Lindsay, Noble Nii Nortey and Noella Wiyaala. Addy Bernard Danso, Christian Amoah and Chidinma form the Vybez group while Waves is made of Rosemary Ampofoh, Gertrude Hansen- Sackey and Joshua.

The show kicks off at 7pm at the National Theatre and there will be performances by 4X4, RnM and the Ohia Beye Ya band.
