TENSION OVER GURU's MISSING NEW SINGLE

There is a huge tension between lapaz Toyota man Guru and his record label Empire Records over the artiste (Guru) new single 'Karaoke' which has been missing in the camp of Empire for weeks but investigations proves the song is unofficially out into the public domain.

Empire Records manager Mr. Daniel Obeng Fianko refused to talk to 18newspaper when we approached him on the issue about the rumor that Guru's new single has been internationally leaked before its original time of release.

Even though he refused to talk to us, our investigations showed that since Guru is enjoying massive airplay with the number one song right now – Lapaz Toyota the plans of Empire Records was that later in the year, during Ghana Meets Naija event the artiste will release 'Karaoke' which is the new single for fans and after that promotion starts but all planned activities is dead.

18newspaper investigations also shows that right after the song was completed by Ball J the beat maker, management listened to it and accepted the final work but to their dismay certain websites and radio stations have uploaded the song unto their platforms for fans to have a feel of it before Ghana meets Naija show in June this year.

We can confirm that popular websites like Bigxgh.com, Ghanamusic.com Ghanamotion.com, svproms.com, elive.com, ghanacelebrities.com, ameyawdebrah.com, some sound cloud accounts and radio stations like Hitz 109.7fm, Y107.9, Atlantis radio, radio xyz93.1fm, Joy99.7fm among other respected stations have a copy of the song and will soon either publish it or play it for listeners.

The artiste in question Guru has also refused to comment on the case as to who he thinks could have leaked the new single 'Karaoke' way before its time of release but plans are still in place, as soon as we get a message from either management or artiste we will let fans know.

What do we say, is it a sign of good news for fans of Guru as they get to hear the new single earlier before June 30th or it is bad news for Empire records as a label because their plans of promotion has been cut short?
