Keenag Productions proudly presents the inaugural Africo awards ceremony in Columbus, Ohio. The ceremony is aimed at rewarding good deeds, positiveness and great customer service within the African community.
The main goal of the ceremony is to bring Africans in the Diaspora together and celebrate our success. AFRICO is a combination of African and community.
The AFRICO Awards is the brainchild of Ghanaian Gospel music star; Geena K and it is unique in the sense that, the community chooses the winners. People can nominate individuals or businesses from different categories.

Beauty Salon of the Year
Barber Shop of the Year
Radio Host of the Year
Seamstress of the Year
DJ of the Year
African Market of the Year

Photographer or Videographer of the Year
The Inaugural Africo Awards occurs on Saturday; July 28th, 2012 at the Haimerl Center in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. There will be performances by SDA Cadet Group and African Youth Dance Essemble. It will be co-hosted by Ike Amoako and Hon. KBY. Music will be provided by DJ Casty.
There will be a video coverage by the Ohio Center for Broadcasting.
