Following the member of parliament for Adenta, Kojo Adu Asare's decision to join the movie industry in Ghana, some movie producers have shown interest in signing him on to act in some of their upcoming movies.
The movie producers, in separate interviews with BEATWAVES , declared their willingness to work with the MP who wants to contribute towards the growth of the movie industry.
'Kojo Adu Asare has all the qualities and I think I have to get him a role in one of my upcoming movies which I am yet to shoot in some parts of the country,' noted one of the producers.
The MP, a couple of weeks ago, told Hitz FM , an Accra-based radio station that he wanted to be involved in the showbiz industry and had plans of becoming a movie producer very soon.
BEATWAVES gathered that the MP developed an interest in the movie industry some years back, even before he became an MP.
Kojo Adu Asare told BEATWAVES that his decision to join the movie industry was not to make money for himself but to contribute towards the growth of the industry, adding that in addition to movie production, he would still be involved in politics.
