Ghana's new but talented gospel artiste Eric Akoto who doubles as radio presenter has quit Kasoa based Pink 96.9 fm www.lloydsplaza.com can exclusively reveal.
Speaking to Akoto in an interview, the shy looking gentleman who launched his latest gospel video album entitled 'Okandifo Jesus' barely two weeks ago saids he has no problem with his employers but he thinks the time has come for him to say bye bye to the station he has worked with for the past three years.
“I have never had a grudge with any colleague of mine at Pink not even a management member. I respect and cherish my radio job which has kept me for the past six years but all the same like the Bible teaches us, everything that has a beginning has an end”, Akoto cited.
“I am not flirting with any station at the moment so I think I'll get ample time for my music which I'm using it as a tool to preach the gospel of our Lord to mankind”, Akoto said.
When we tried to contact the management of the station for their reaction to the story they were reluctant to say a whisker.
