By any standards, Korkormikor is no newbie. He holds it down for the south-south from out of the city of Port-Harcourt. So strong is his influence that he has opened shows for Banky W, Naeto C and M.I to name a few when they made their respective brief stops in that part of the nation. Progressively, he's at work to make the crossover into the mainstream like his out-of-PH counterparts Duncan Mighty and Timaya. Pursuant to that, he's released a new single, Blowin' Up My Control - a song which downplays his usually hard edged disposition. The song has an unusually different progression from his previous body of work, on it he tells a tale of a one-off liaison gone wrong.
Time will only tell whether it's a total goodbye to the angst he seemed to harbor in his previous single - Delete Them All. In the video for the said song, he played with the Mafia Genre as in Mario Puzo's Classic, The Godfather. Nigerian Rap Legend, Modenine made a cameo appearance in the video.
