O AMOAKU, a Ghanaian from the Volta Region, is in the center of America's entertainment news after he acted in an all-stars Hollwyood action epic, 'The Expendables'.

The new action movie was written and directed by Sylvester Stallone, popularly known as Rambo.

'The Expendables' is currently topping movie charts in the U.S and Senyo acted with some of world's greatest movie-makers including California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (Commando), Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren popularly known in Ghana as 'Red Scorpion', Jet Li, Bruce Willis, popular ex-wrestler Stone-Cold Steve Austin, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews, martial-arts champ Randy Couture and several other stars.

Reports say Jean Claude Van Dame was casted for the movie but he turned down the role because he was to lose a fight to Jet Li.

Senyo was described as “the tall pirate” in the movie and he reportedly delivered a power-packed performance as a memorable villain trading unpleasantries opposite Rambo and his team of mercenaries.

“We've got some tough men in this movie,” Stallone said. “I mean some bad-asses, trust me. The pirates -- you think I'm joking? "We've got a tall pirate in this movie that could conquer countries.”

“Don't be scared of the pirates,” Rambo described Senyo to Nola.com. In Hollywood now, the movie is unofficially touted as “the manliest movie of all-time.”

Every Tom, Dick and Harry in this movie has an enviable talent and profile and Senyo no doubt has every reason to celebrate his role in it.

Senya was born on July 30, 1979 in Ohio but grew up in San Diego, California.

He has been acting professionally since 2004 and has starred in national campaigns for DiGiorno's Pizza, EA Sports/WII, AOL and on hit network series from NBC, 'Heroes' and CBS's 'Gary Unmarried'.

The movie was shot on locations in Rio de Janeiro, New Orleans, and Los Angeles from March 28 and was release for the cinemas on August 13 2010.

It pays tribute to the blockbuster action films of the 1980s and early '90s. The array of veteran top actors and new action stars mentioned above, were a mercenary team on a mission against some ruthless see pirates led by Ghana's Senyo.
