ONE OF the country's contemporary and prolific singers, , whose music has gone down well with the youth, last Friday outdoored his latest album 'Bibinii' at a press launch at the Silverbird Life class store in Accra.

, who many people see as a role model, recently wept when he broke down on TV Africa after performing a song for his former wife, as requested by Yaw Sakyi, host of 'The Rundown' on TV Africa.

told Graphic Showbiz a few weeks ago that his relationship with his new girlfriend started after it became obvious that his marriage was breaking down.

When his wife Esther also realized this “our house became one hell of a place. Insults on the phone were extended to other members of my family with my mother getting the worse part”, he was quoted as saying.

According to him, he believes marriage is a covenant which God created to make man and woman happy and blessed in life adding, “I have witnessed the bad side of such a beauty which the almighty created, but I am not giving up on love. I still believe in God to find my next new love”, told Chris Twum of the Ghanaian Chronicle.

The high life artiste further disclosed that Esther often worked herself into frenzy over these tales. “When she could not bear the pain she was persistently inflicting on herself, she carried the tales, which she interpreted as bad treatment, to members of her family”, noted.

He noted that that was the immediate cause of their separation when the church granted them a divorce. “Since then I have regained my peace and I'm concentrating on writing new songs and producing them”, he revealed.

has two albums to his credit; the last one was released in 2007 and featured hit songs 'Dadianoma', My Baby, 'Abotre', amongst others, and featured Okyeame Kwame, Tinny and Cita Kamani.

Addressing the press, said: “This album has gone through a lot, and 2009 has been a year of trails and a lot of ups and downs. I thank God for making the album a success and the media for being there for me”.

He explained that 'Bibinii' comes from things that go on in the environment and his passion to do things that people can relate to easily. “I termed the album 'Bibinii' so that every African or Ghanaian will believe in himself”, he said. The album has nine tracks, and the title track 'Bibinii' features Tinny.
