Hon. Nitiwul Gives NDC Nightmares
16.04.2017 LISTEN

A few weeks ago, a Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidohu was in Bimbila for a political activity of his party.

Anyidohu who has won himself the inevitable record of talking carelessly and senselessly told the Bimbila people that their MP was on his way out. He went further to state that the NDC had a deliberate agenda to get Nitiwul out of Parliament.

His only reason and that of his party for wanting Hon. Nitiwul out of Parliament was that the Bimbila MP was vocal in Parliament and giving them sleepless nights.

In his opinion, Leader Nitiwul should not be vocal and he should allow the NDC to continue with their thievery and corruption if he wants to remain in Parliament.

This should definitely sound strange to sensible and reasonable persons. How can an MP who is a star in his team and doing well be the target of the NDC?

Is the NDC through Koku saying that Parliament is for only those who can either go and be sleeping or for persons with loud voices to shout " yea yea"?

The fact that the NDC is working hard to deny the people of Bimbila their hardworking MP is the very reason Nitiwul should be retained by his own people.

The action or agenda of the NDC is a tacit confirmation that the Bimbila legislator is on top of his work.

I have visited Bimbila a few weeks ago. I have had the opportunity to interact with the electorates and the feedback is that Hon. Nitiwul has brought more development to the people of the Bimbila constituency than the NDC government has done in the same constituency!

I suspect that is why he has become a nightmare (Kakai) to the NDC.

Parliament is not a place to go and sleep nor a place to go and shout yea yea and go home. People like Nitiwul are needed in Parliament to ensure the right decisions are made.

The advocacy skills of Nitiwul is great. His experience in Parliament over the years is profound. He is dynamic and sociable and I appeal to the Bimbila people to continue to keep him there to continue his service to them and Mother Ghana. Very best.
