Hasaacas beat Hotspurs 2-1

Sekondi, July 20 GNA - Sekondi Hasaacas on Wednesday beat Kade Hotspurs 2-1 in the second round of the GT Premier League match played at the Sekondi Gyandu Park.

It was Hasaacas who took the kick-off but soon lost possession to Hotspurs in early minutes of play.

Hasaacas gradually warmed themeselves into the game while Hotspurs floundered in their goal area.

After a couple of unsuccessful attempts at goal, Hasaacas made amends to score the opener in the 11th minute through Mensah Oblitey who connected home a pass.

Hotspurs fought from all angles in search of an equalizer with Hasaacas also keeping up pressure their but both sides failed to utilize their chances till the end of the first half.

Hasaacas improved on their play and earned a penalty in the 54th minute for Moses Andoh to score the resultant kick for his side's second goal. In the 85th minute, Hotspurs Kwabena Boateng pulled a goal back for his for to bring the final score to 2-1.
