INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING FOR OPP COATED ROOF PANEL ROLL FORMING MACHINE
According to client’s request, MAXON sent its technicians and electrician to Myanmar for the installation and commissioning of opp ¹ coated roof panel roll forming machine that was shipped in the end of May, and this roll forming machine would produce metal roofing sheets with OPP material coated.
The installation team stayed in Myanmar for 4 days and finished the job perfectly. After the installaton jobs, this OPP coated roof panel roll forming machine, Under the control of Panasonic PLC computer system, is running both automatically and manually from auto decoiling, auto pre-cutting, OPP coating, roll forming, and auto cutting in accordance with the required lengths and quantities.
The roof panel roll forming machine produces metal roofing sheet with 740mm effective width from 914mm raw material width and 0.15-0.5mm thickness, this metal roofing sheets will be coated with 3-4mm thickness OPP material during the roll forming. Through the control system, this machine can cut different lengths of products, and final pre-cut automtically when all the required sheets are finished.
OPP: ORIENTED POLYPROPYLENE
“Relatively new to the decorative overlay category, these films are stretched (oriented) in both the machine and cross-machine direction to deliver improved dimensional stability. In addition, OPP offers resistance to water and chemicals.
Because of its non-absorbent print surface OPP is ideal for high fidelity wood grain prints and decorative patterns. OPP films may be embossed and are typically coated for scuff, scratch and stain resistance. Oriented polypropylene films are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.9 to 2.2 mil (23 gsm to 56 gsm). Typical applications include RTA furniture, cabinets, wrapped profiles, ceiling and wall panels.”
